Just like the weather cools and the leaves turn with the coming of Fall, our team is also changing. This month, we say goodbye and good luck to our lovely registered dietician, Allie Farley, who has led the Integrative Health nutrition programs for the past five years. Her creativity and commitment to our patients are evident in the love that she has poured into the Farm Stand, the Wellness Wednesday recipe program, our Nutrition Basics webinars, the Healthy Living Series, the Refreshments table, and the Nutrition Blog in this newsletter. We are excited about Allie's new adventures and we wish her the best! We welcome registered dietician Samantha Haswell in her place, who you may have already met at Farm Stand over the last few weeks. We feature her story in Faces of Massey in this issue of Harmony in Health, and you'll hear more of her and the nutrition team via Facebook, on October 19th at noon. Please join me in welcoming Sam! We are so excited to bring you another opportunity to get your steps in October. Consider joining us at the inaugural downtown RAMble on October 1st! Because of the inclement weather, we'll meet at our rain location, the VCU Cary St Gym at 101 S Linden St. Do you need some extra dose of relaxation these days? Joins us for Mindfulness on Fridays 14 and 28 at noon, Hatha Yoga on Tuesdays at 2:30 pm, or Gentle Yoga on Thursdays at 5:30 pm. And, if all you want to do is to enjoy the comfort of your couch and a soft blanket, cuddle up and read on! We bring you some tidbits on vitamin B in our latest Medicinal Memos blog post. Enjoy!
