The Senior Friends Monday Morning Bowling League held its Annual Hawthorne Cancer Resource Center Bowl-a-Thon on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Bowl America Southwest Lanes.
It was another successful event with 27 bowlers participating with Bowl America Management and other non-bowling donations. The event realized a total fundraising income in support of the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation of $1002.00.
Since the first Hawthorne Bowl-a-Thon in 2003, SFBL has raised funds for the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation in the amount of $15,104.60 as of the May 16th Bowl-a-Thon.
We are so proud of the Senior Friends Bowling League in joint partnership with the Hawthorne. The Senior Friends Bowling League values the opportunity to assist our efforts to respond to patients seeking support with this dreaded disease.
We at the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation are honored to be associated with the members of the Senior Friends Bowling League and look forward to many more years of cooperative fundraising projects.
