Come join us for a great time of fun and fellowship as we wrap up a great year of serving the cancer community. Our year-end fundraiser is a great way to give back as you enjoy time with family and friends. Don't forget to bring the little ones. We have a safe place for them to have fun while under adult supervision. Kidz Korner and Bounce House are just for starters.

Back for a second year, Pink Chair Project RVA is sponsoring the “Rockin’ Bowl Bash” fundraiser at Richmond’s River City Roll (939 Myers Street). This “even larger-and-greater” event will be held on Tuesday, October 10th from 5:30 pm-10 pm, Ticket information is available through Eventbrite.
The cost for a single ticket is $30 (and $100 for four tickets). Amenities for bowlers include one hour of bowling and food + “Kidz Korner” FREE.
This fundraiser is in tandem with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The mission and vision of Pink Chair Project RVA are listed on the website. Your support for this fundraiser will add additional remote-controlled electronic chairs to the present fleet to help post-surgery breast cancer recipients recover in comfort and with dignity and care.
The fun-for-all event includes familiar perks and warm vibes from last October, such as bowling, yummy food, raffles, and enticing items at the benefit silent auction.
Special attractions this year:
Use of the whole building, utilizing all 20 lanes!
Fun for children at the “Kidz Korner” while Mom and Dad bowl!
Community influencers as committed partners. They will be recognized then and in the upcoming Fall newsletter.
Special Events Coordinator Dori Abell extends her heartfelt personal invitation to all, saying, “The Pink Chair Project, part of The Hawthorne Cancer Foundation, is a nonprofit that provides a light in the darkness for these women. I want the public to understand how important these chairs are for their recovery, and how grateful our recipients have been. Our Bowl Bash fundraiser supports so much love and support for breast cancer patients, and I want to see River City Roll packed wall-to-wall on October 10th. Not only will this event be a fun and affordable night out, but attendees will also have an opportunity to win prizes and raffles. All of us can make a positive difference!”
