This is how the fundraiser works: On May 18th from 4 pm-8 pm, for purchases to count towards your fundraiser, verbally tell the cashier of your participation in helping Pink Chair RVA or mention the fundraiser when ordering online.
Bring with you those you value-- family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers; enjoy an evening out with your party and a delicious dinner. Enjoy the event and support the purposes of the fundraiser by purchasing your meals.
There are three purposes for the fundraiser. The first is to raise money for a good cause. Proceeds from this triple-store fundraiser will provide funds for the” gift bags” for Pink Chair recipients who have been gifted remote-controlled electronic recliners as breast cancer patients to use during post-operative recovery. As well as the chair, which is considered a healing tool, the recipient receives a beautiful quilt and a gift bag of pertinent items for comfort and medical resources.
The second is to provide information, raise awareness, and provide support in the fight against breast cancer.
The third is to celebrate the good news of survival rates due to early screenings and research.
On May 18th at all three stores, the Pink Chair will have displays of the gift bags and have on-hand literature related to our nonprofit organization.
That night, we want to emphasize the value of early screenings for cancer to save many as well as to request your support of the “healing” gift bags.
